Hey guys!

I´m coming to Årrenjarka and ride there on March 17th with few of my friends. I would like to know some tips where would be the best hills and powder to ride?

We were last year up there and went to Kabla fjells. I doubt that is the best place to ride there, too much trees or too low snow :( On second day we went past the Kvikkjokk to Tarrekaisestugan and rode some hills over there.

If someone knows some tips, please comment.. We would like to start riding as soon as possible, not trying to seek the best places :) And if someone would like to come and show those places, youre more than welcome :)

here´s some pics of our last years trip http://offroad.sevennet.net/album85

Hey there!

I often ride in the area around "Kabla". What your saying is right, it is quite hard and not much snow. But if you rides in the walleys instead the top of the mountains its often more snow and the snow isn´t hard as concreate...

You have to be there earlier if the snow is to be more soft on the top!

If i may ask, where are you from?

I hope you get a fun snowmobiletrip in Sweden! =)

Hey Errrrrrrrnst, thanks for the answer!

We are coming from across the border, from Rovaniemi.

I know that the softer snow lies on the valleys, but problem is that I dont know where the best valleys and hills are ;) Or if you dont want to tell, at least tell where the second best are ;)

How much you usually have snow there? Last year we were there right after rain so most of the snow was gone :( But after some seeking we did find powder..

We have reserved our cottages already, so we are going to Årrenjarka. I like the place, but every tip is still welcome :)

Places to ride

The best places to ride are probably the hills on the descent from Vaimok to Pieskehaure, however, this is at a distance of ~60 km west of Kvikkjokk, somewhat of a long way for a one day ride. Also, SSW of Kvikkjokk towards the Miekak valley, there can be nice little gorges and cornices, if the snow is deep enough. However, I recommend that you scout out your own spots and do the best of what you can find. Kvikkjokk/Årrenjarka is somewhat of a tricky place to ride at.
